After England cricketers partied on the outfield to celebrate their Ashes win by urinating on the pitch, former players have hit out at them, telling them to grow up.
According to the Mirror, former skipper Ray Illingworth expressed that the players need to be reprimanded for their antics.
Late on Sunday night, several members of the England team, including Kevin Pietersen, Stuart Broad and James Anderson, were spotted urinating over the Oval pitch they had just played on, taking their celebrations to new levels, the report said.
Illingworth said that it was childish behavior and it is time the players grew up, adding that it reflects very badly on them
Surrey chief executive Richard Gould said that nobody wanted to spoil any celebrations of their successful England team but if the pitch was being used in this way, it was disappointing, adding that there were ample toilet facilities at the ground for the players to use.
