Former Liverpool player Jan Molby has said that he believes skipper Steven Gerrard will quit his England career after the Brazil World Cup, to try to bring Champions League football back to Anfield.
According to the Daily Star, however, before he departs the England set-up, Molby is certain Gerrard, 33, will give a good account of himself in Brazil next year.
Molby said that Gerrard would want to show his best before slipping away from international football.
He further added that instead of spreading himself too thin, the player can focus on helping Liverpool finish in the top four of the Premier League, whether that is this year of next year.
