Facebook may allow businesses, customers to communicate on Whatsapp

Facebook may soon allow Whatsapp users to contact businesses and brands for customer service inquiries on its massive chat network and vice versa.

Facebook CFO David Wehner said that the business-to-consumer communication model had "good business potential" for the company, but spoke of the plan as more long-term than the near-term, reported The Verge.
