Google has unveiled two new budget Chromebook laptops, which are powered by its web-based Chrome OS platform, from domestic manufacturers Nexian and Xolo in India.
While Nexian's chromebook is retailing for Rs. 13,499 on Amazon, Xolo's device is available on Snapdeal for Rs.13,999 , reported TechCrunch.
Google also said that more devices from ASUS, Samsung and other Indian companies will hit the market soon to provide even greater choices.
Introduced to India in 2013, Chromebooks are touted to pack a punch for their price, particularly for educational purposes, but rely on internet connections for most tasks and features.
