Family members of eight more people in Bangladesh have sought the help of law enforcers' to find them as the number of missing reports from across the country has risen.
Family members suspect that their children have joined militant groups as some were able to contact with their children but they have not returned home.
The eight individuals have been identified as Tahmid Rahman Safi from Nikunja area of Dhaka, Dr Arafat Al Azad from Baridhara, Hasib Monaz from Banani, Angur Rahman Masud from Ashulia of Savar, Redwan Islam Tuhin from Sreepur of Gazipur, Turkiur Rahman from Bogra, Rabeya Akther Tumpa and Sayma Akther Mukta from Gopalganj, reports the Dhaka Tribune.
The passports of five have been found so far.
Reports suggest that these eight persons had left the country at different times and this is why they stopped communicating with their families.
After reports surfaced that some of the militants who attacked Holey Artisan Bakery, Sholakia Eid congregation and those killed in a raid at Kallyanpur had remained missing for a long period of time, parents have filed general diaries with the police to get back their children.
Bangladesh's elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has published a list of 262 people who had gone missing.
The list was later updated to 68.
Meanwhile, the police chief has said that they would cooperate if any of the missing people wants to return.
