Fawad Khan started acting for his gal-pal turned wife

If you love Fawad Khan and his acting, which of course everyone does, then thank his wife Sadaf Khan for that.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, the 34-year-old actor confessed that he took up acting to escape from university to meet his then girlfriend, presently wife, reports the Express Tribune.

"I wasn't a fan of the university I was attending. I was only bothered about what college my girlfriend, now wife, was going to," he said.

With this, the 'Kapoor and Sons' actor also added that "somewhere, there must have been a tiny desire to become an actor."

Fawad even said that he joined the 'industry' with a 'heavy heart' as he found TV sub-standard, but later used it to brush up his skill.

"When my shows received a mad response, I realised I needed to pull my socks up and take this medium seriously. Over time, it started to get repetitive, which is why I decided to veer away," he added.
