Defending champion Roger Federer continued his unbeaten record as he defeated his Belgian opponent David Goffin to reach the semi finals of Swiss Indoors here on Friday.
The Swiss maestro bounced back from a set down to claim 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 win over Goffin in the quarterfinal contest that lasted for about one and a half hour.
The 17-time Grand Slam champion, who has previously won six times in Basel, will now lock horns with Jack Sock for the final-berth.
Meanwhile, third-seed Rafael Nadal has also made it to the semifinals by beating Marin Cilic 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. He will next play against Richard Gasquet in the last four clash.
