Justice (Retired) Mukul Mudgal on Monday stated that report on the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scam has been submitted in a sealed cover to the Supreme Court, adding that the information was final and based on the findings by the investigating team.

"The report has been submitted to the honourable Supreme Court today. It is in a sealed cover. It is up to the honourable court to decide what to do with it," Mudgal told ANI here.

The former Delhi High Court judge also parried questions relating to the contents of the said report.

"I cannot say anything. The sealed cover contains our report and conclusions. Our reports are based on the findings of our investigating team and is final," Mudgal said.

The Justice Mukul Mudgal-led committee, which was appointed by the Supreme Court to investigate the fixing and betting scandal in the IPL, submitted its final report to the apex court earlier today.

The report was submitted almost six months after the apex court had asked Indian Police Service officer B.B. Mishra and the police departments in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai to assist the investigation.

The Supreme Court will hear the case on November 10.

Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI's) annual general meeting is scheduled to be held on November 20. The outcome of the Mudgal Committee report is expected to have an impact on the voting pattern and on Srinivasan's future as a cricket administrator.
