'Finding Neverland' is officially landing on Broadway in March 2015, it has been reported.
According to a New York Times, the musical adaptation of the 2004 film following Peter Pan playwright J. M. Barrie would begin performances on the Great White Way in March, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The production would be the first major theater project spearheaded by Harvey Weinstein. And the tale would tell the story of Barrie's friendship with a woman and four fatherless children who inspired his classic tale about the boy who refused to grow up.
The Miramax film starred Johnny Depp as the author, opposite Kate Winslet, while the Cambridge run stars Jeremy Jordan (The Last 5 Years, Smash) and Laura Michelle Kelly, who previously starred in Mary Poppins on Broadway.
