Flag Foundation of India (NFF) has assured the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) to upkeeping and maintenance of monumental flag installed at Central Park here in Connaught Place.

Shrivastava, Chairman, NDMC that has assured as displaying of Tiranga is the pride for the nation, the Flag Foundation of India will bear all the expenses on upkeep and maintenance of Monumental Flagpole.
He said that it will be ensured that the dignity of the National Flag is maintained.
This monumental flag was installed at the Central Park in Connaught Place, here on March 7th, this year. The NDMC had permitted NFF to install the flagpole in Central Park, Connaught Place and the NDMC is bearing the cost of electricity at the site.
