Prominent American talk show host Oprah Winfrey, just like the entire globe, is caught up in World Cup fever.
Winfrey took to social media to share a video, in which she congratulated all the teams participating in the World Cup.
Meanwhile, ahead of their match against Brazil on Monday, the 64-year-old also announced that she is rooting for the Mexico National Team.
The Mexican team was quick to welcome her, tweeting, "Please welcome our newest member to the Incondicionales family!!!"
The quadrennial month-long event will see 32 nations, divided into eight groups, competing in 64 games over 32 days and fighting it out for the coveted trophy.
The matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be played out in 12 stadiums, located in 11 cities and spread over 1,800 miles across Russia.
