Tennis Hall of Famer Martina Hingis is reportedly set to resume playing with the doubles at the Southern California Open.
Former No. 1 player in the world, Hingis, 32, will be making her first WTA tournament appearance since September 2007 and will play with Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia, Stuff.co.nz reports.
Hingis was often troubled by foot injuries and retired for the second time in 2007, when she drew a two-year suspension for testing positive for cocaine at Wimbledon to which she had denied but did not appeal the ruling, the report added.
