Four Lanka ministers likely to resign today

Four Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) parliamentarians, who were recently appointed as ministers of the government are likely to resign their portfolios today, local media reports here quoted party sources, as saying.

Ministers Dilan Perera, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, C. B. Ratnayake and Pavithra Wanniarachchi are expected to resign from their posts, the Colombo Page quoted SLFP sources, as saying.

A media briefing also has been called for today with the participation of these four ministers.

Minister Dilan Perera holds the Housing and Samurdhi State Minister post while Minister Mahinda Yapa is the Parliamentary Affairs Minister.
