Gary Player is the latest golf personality to take a shot at Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki by saying that the golfer needs to find the right wife.
According to the New York Daily News, after speaking about how much he loved McIlroy, Player clumsily played the role of relationship expert and said that when you are in love as a young man, golf seems to take second place for a while, adding that love was still the greatest thing that happened in lives and he would come back strong.
However, the report said that Player took a dig on Rory's choice as well, along with saying that to find the right wife, beauty was not the answer.
McIlroy, 24, is not married but he has been dating Wozniacki, a tennis star, for the better part of two years after confirming the relationship in August 2011, months after winning the US Open.
