George Clooney is currently facing 100,000 pounds tax bill for the ring that he gave to his because his bride-to-be Amal Alamuddin.
The 53-year-old actor's lawyer fiancee had flashed the 415,000 pound ring after touching down in London from Malibu, California, where the lovebirds celebrated their upcoming nuptials, the Daily Star reported.
UK customs officials could demand a hefty 100,000 pounds in import duty, as the law states that any gems worth more than 390 pounds brought to Britain from outside the EU are subject to taxes.
