The girlfriend of an American passenger aboard missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 has revealed receiving a death threat and numerous bizarre phone calls since the jet vanished.
Sarah Bajc said she has also been robbed twice.
Following the incidents, the FBI was called in but neither the agency nor she have been able to explain how the series of frightening incidents are linked to her partner Philip Wood, who went missing on the plane.
Bajc told NBC News that they started after the plane went missing.
According to news.com.au, Bajc added she got an instant message warning that "I'm going to come and kill you next" about two weeks after MH370 disappeared on March 8.
Bajc received the bizarre call reportedly from a China-based number, and after the FBI was alerted the strange calls stopped.
A number of pornographic images and phone calls were also received from the samephone number.
Bajc claimed the phone calls and messages started after her apartment was robbed for the first time, two weeks after MH370 officially went missing.
She added that the password on her safe had been reset which happens when someone tries the wrong code three times.
Bajc was preparing to move from Beijing to live with her partner, a 50-year-old IBM Malaysia employee.
