Meteorological Centre (MC), Goa on Saturday issued a warning and predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over North Goa and South Goa for next few days.
Heavy rainfall and fishermen warning has also been issued by MC in this regard.
"Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places over north Goa and south Goa for September 7, September 8 and September 9," said IMD in a weather warning bulletin issued by MC.
The weather agency has also issued a warning for the fishermen of Maharashtra-Goa Coast for next 24 hours.
"Rough to very rough sea conditions (wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph) is likely to prevail over Maharashtra-Goa coast during next 24 hours," said IMD.
