Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed satisfaction as he concluded his UK visit, saying that it will transform the ties between both nations.
"The progress on the economic front was satisfying. India and the UK are partners in development and our economic cooperation is all set to increase," Prime Minister Modi tweeted before his departure.
"Goodbye UK. This visit was memorable because of the wide range of programmes I attended. The ground covered will transform India-UK ties," he said.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the British people and the Government for their warm welcome. He also extended his thanks to British Prime Minister David Cameron for personal attention to his visit.
Prime Minister Modi concluded his three-day visit to the United Kingdom and left for Turkey to participate in the G20 Summit which is going to be held on 15th and 16th November at Antalya
During the summit, the G-20 countries will review the progress on decision taken at the last Brisbane Summit.
The summit leaders will also discuss global economy and strategies for economic growth and employment, different critical issues related with financial sectors including trade flow.
The vice chairman of the NITI Aayog and India's sherpa at the G-20 summit, Arvind Panagaria, had said that G-20 Summit will focus on ensuring inclusive and robust growth through financial inclusiveness, implementation and investment for growth.
