With the Parliamentary Monsoon session commencing today, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs-Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the government never had a rigid attitude and welcomed all discussions related to issues of national concern.

"The Prime Minister himself is saying that the MPs and MLAs representing the minority and issues related to national development, youth empowerment and weaker sections will be heard for." Naqvi told ANI.

He further said that he hopes this monsoon session of the parliament to be productive and positive, adding that legislative work should also be done along with the discussion of different political and current issues.

"The government is ready for debate and discussion on all issues, and I think few legislative works that are pending should be completed and in accord to the rules. If Congress or any other party wants to discuss anything, we will surely cooperate and look what is the priority."

A row of bills are yet in the passage of wait to be passed, GST bill to be the most awaited one.

The session is also expected to see the clearance of another important Bill that seeks amendment for the Sarfaesi Act and the Debt Recovery Tribunal Act.
