Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday reiterated that the government is ready to discuss all issues, including the controversy surrounding former IPL chief Lalit Modi, in the Parliament.
"We have never hesitated to meet or discuss with the opposition and we have listened to their opinion as well. From the very first day, we have said we are ready to discus every issue, including IPL," Naidu told the media here.
"Our Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj had talked with the two chairpersons on day one and expressed her desire. I want to keep my viewpoint in the House. We do not have any problem to discuss the matter," he added.
Naidu earlier today met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge amid speculations that the government may convene a special session of Parliament to pass the GST Bill.
