Former English cricketer Graeme Swann believes that the Australian batting line-up will not emerge as a formidable force in the upcoming Ashes series, which starts on July 8 at Cardiff.
Australia suffered a 3-0 defeat against their traditional rivals during their last visit to the country, but claimed a 5-0 whitewash at home in the 2013-14 series.
Swann said that the Australian batting line-up in England is not as strong, adding that nearly all their batsmen struggled in 2013, the BBC reported.
The 36-year-old, however, insisted that the seam bowlers would play a crucial role for both teams as their performancea would majorly determine the outcome of the series.
