Australian fielding coach Greg Blewett believes that sharp fielding will play a paramount role in the upcoming quarterfinal tie against Pakistan on Friday in Adelaide.
Describing Australia as one of the best fielding unit, Blewett, said that everyone knows how important fielding is, particularly when it comes to the bigger games, the Dawn reported.
Blewett, who played 46 Tests and 32 ODIs in his career, said that over the last month or so they have shown a fair bit of footage of some really good Australian fielders who have gone before these guys.
Blewett insisted that it was in an attempt to get them to force a bit of their own legacy, adding that it was also to create a bit of competition amongst the guys at training.
