Pakistan T20 captain Mohammad Hafeez is reportedly not happy with his individual performance and his team's performance as well following their early World Twenty20 fallout.
A disappointed Hafeez, on his return from Bangladesh as Pakistan failed to make it to the World T20 Cup semi-finals for the first time, said that he feels that a team should be questioned whenever it displays a poor performance.
According to The Express Tribune, the skipper also said that an inquiry would be held to determine the factors responsible for Pakistan's defeat when asked if he is ready to face the music before Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi.
Hafeez said that he will present all his reports to PCB chairman during a meeting on Thursday and refused to comment when asked if he would play under the captaincy of all-rounder Shahid Afridi, adding that he is not aware of any such statement.
Hafeez also said that it is upto the PCB to decide who they would appoint as captain adding that if the PCB feels that he is performing his duties as a captain well then they would retain him or else whoever they chose as the captain, the Pakistani cricket team would respect him, the report added.
