The global leader in home appliances and consumer electronics Haier announced the launch of its new BMR- Bottom Mounted Refrigerator, HRB-475SS (450 litre).

The launch aims to further augment the Haier's line of BMR refrigerators in the country. Haier has introduced the all new refrigerator to suit the evolving needs of a modern contemporary Indian family. The beautifully designed BMR series reduces bending by 90 percent and empowers the consumers to bend less while accessing items.

The new BMR model is accurately designed with revolutionary features such as direct cool inverter technology which helps in saving up to 30 percent of electricity. With an expanded storage room for non-frozen products in the upper portion of the fridge, the 450 Liter BMR refrigerator model very well accommodates the needs of modern households, especially large families.

Taking into consideration the importance of adequate space utilization, the reversible door feature is a perfect solution for a modern kitchen which enables a user to open the refrigerator from either sides (left or right).

Further, the refrigerator is armed with functionalities such as one touch LED Control, Convertible My Zone which helps in changing the temperature of a specific section of the refrigerator from -3 to +5 degrees Celsius depending upon the food type, Fuzzy logic makes the refrigerator sense the outside temperature and accordingly sets the inside temperature.

"Haier has constantly focused around making products that suit the necessities of progressive contemporary families. In 2006, Haier spearheaded the idea of Bottom Mounted Refrigerator innovation by propelling industry's first BMRs and from that point forward, we have been always developing on the idea," said President Haier Appliances (India), Eric Braganza.

"The new 450 liter BMR is aimed at making the lives of the consumers all the more easy with added capacity and great features. It also reaffirms our previous campaign, "Jhukna Mat" that disposes of the requirement for the Indian customer to bend to get to the less commonly utilized things in a refrigerator," added Eric Braganza.
