A hairdresser got her job back at his saloon after Australian PM Julia Gillard was replaced by Kevin Rudd.

As Australia obsessed over Julia Gillard's future last week, Palm Beach hair salon Hair Elements chose to focus on what partner, Tim Mathieson, was going to do after leaving the Lodge, the Courier Mail reported.

The staff of the Gold Coast business wasted no time employing Mathieson after it was clear that Rudd would be the new Australian PM.
