Hamilton wins Monaco GP, Force India's Perez finishes third

Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton produced a dominating performance as he celebrated his first win of the Formula One season to reignite his title campaign in a thrilling Monaco Grand Prix.

Hamilton, through this win, has slashed down his team-mate Nico Rosbereg's lead in the Formula One world championship from 43 points to 24, the Guardian reported.

Australian Daniel Ricciardo finished second for Red Bull while Force India's Mexican Sergio Perez finished third.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finished fourth followed by McLaren's Fernando Alonso, Force India's Nico Hulkenberg and Rosberg.
