Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday announced a compensation of Rs. 50,000 to the injured in the Haryana roadways bus blast near Pipli village in Sonepat district of the state.
The state government has also formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the Additional Director General of Police to probe the matter.
A low intensity blast took place in a Haryana Roadways bus earlier today.
The cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained. A bomb squad team is present at the spot to investigate the incident.
The injured were being treated at a hospital in Kurukshetra, police said.
