The Oscar-winning music director A.R Rahman is on a hunt for singers from Tamil Nadu who can share the stage with him.
The ace composer has recently launched '7Up Tamizh Naattin Kural' - a state-wide voice hunt.
Speaking at the announcement, Rahman said, "Wherever in the world I go, I remain at heart, a proud Tamilian. This land has been an integral part of my musical journey, and I am delighted to partner with 7Up Thamizh Naattin Kural to celebrate the spirit of this land."
Adding, "Whenever I discover a new melody or a new beat, I feel a special thrill. I feel equally excited now as I look forward to hearing the unique talent that resides on this land and to finding seven new voices to sing with me on stage at my next concert in Chennai."
In what promises to be a celebration of the spirit and vibrant talent of Tamil Nadu, '7Up Tamizh Naattin Kural' is inviting entries from across the state, with a chance to be one of seven lucky voices to sing with A.R Rahman on stage.
Elaborating on the new campaign, Vipul Prakash, Senior Vice President - Beverage Category, PepsiCo India said, "'7Up Thamizh Naattin Kural' is our way of saluting the state's rich and vibrant talent, and we are honoured to partner with musical genius, A.R Rahman for this initiative. Music is a remarkable unifier, and through this campaign, we look forward to bringing together talented young voices with a chance to sing with the legendary music maestro.
