Looks like Shah Rukh Khan is doing a lot to grow some hair on his chest to be the next Wolverine.

Basically, Hugh Jackman may have nominated SRK as the next mutant superhero, but in order to turn into one, the latter will have to grow not just the claws but also 'chest hair.'

When the Bollywood Badshah was asked on the same at Mijwan- Summer 2017, he joked, "He (Hugh Jackman) was absolutely correct. I will just have to grow some hair on my chest. I am working for that (laughs). Let the hair grow once and then see, what perfect wolverine I will be!"

The story begins when the 'Logan' star sat for an interview with Rajeev Masand on his last ride as Wolverine.

When Masand asked Jackman if he would be comfortable to see other actor playing the role that he had made legendary with his portrayal for 17 long years, the actor replied, "I think I'll be fine with it. I hope other people play it. May be Shah Rukh Khan could play it."

On this note, replying to a columnist, who took to her Twitter page to share her piece on why King Khan should play Wolverine, the 'Raees' actor tweeted, "Hair on the chest lady.need hair on the chest!! Working on it, though. Love Hugh & Wolverine."

Back in 2011, when the 'X-Men' star was in India for FICCI Frames, Khan was the one who hosted him and they had even set the dance floor on fire, along with Vidya Balan.
