After giving us a thrilling movie like 'Naam Shabana,' filmmaker Neeraj Pandey feels grateful to music composer Bappi Lahiri for permitting the use of his yesteryear chartbuster 'Zubi Zubi' in the film.
The film features a scene wherein Taapsee Pannu is seen visiting a nightclub while on a mission as the spy, Shabana.
The scene features a rendition to Bappi Lahiri's famous 'Zubi Zubi'.
Expressing his gratitude towards the veteran composer, he said, "Zubi Zubi was one of the most popular party tracks of yesteryear. The song perfectly encapsulates the enigmatic vibe of the scene in Naam Shabana. It was an instant thought to have the reprised version of Bappi da's song in our film. I am thankful to the legendary composer to have let us recreate the magic of the classic in our film."
The track marks to be the second association with Bappi Lahiri, with Dhar Pakad from 'Special 26' having a paved way.
'Naam Shabana' is India's first spin-off, based on Taapsee's character in Neeraj Pandey's 'Baby'.
Written by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Plan C Studios, Shivam Nair's directorial 'Naam Shabana' is currently playing in theatres.
