Hollywood big wigs have come forward to pay tributes to legendary comedian Sid Caesar, who died aged 91 in LA after a brief illness.

While Larry King told CBS News that Caesar was a genius at everything, Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted that the world has lost one of the greats, adding that Caesar was a fantastic comedian and entertainer and will always be missed.

Whoopi Goldberg also took to Twitter to say that life was "doing her thing" and another great funny man has passed away.

Joan Rivers also wrote that she was saddened by Caesar's death and he was able to make people laugh today, just like he did 60 years ago.
