Olympian Hope Solo's husband and former NFL player Jerramy Stevens has been jailed for 30 days for driving under influence.
The 35-year-old player, who was driving a team USA football van with his wife in California, surrendered before the authorities and began his sentence immediately, TMZ.com reports.
Stevens has also been ordered to complete two years of alcohol treatment in Washington and has also been sentenced to serve a four-year probation period.
The pair had reportedly tried to get away by playing the celebrity card, but it didn't work, as Steven's alcohol level was found to be more than twice the permissible limit.
This is his second charge in ten years, and the judge has issued a 'Watson Warning' against him, meaning that if he ever accidently killed someone while driving drunk, he would be charged with murder and not vehicular manslaughter, which is a relatively milder charge.
