Hugh Dancy is set to star in the upcoming Oscar Wilde biopic 'The Happy Prince', it has been revealed.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film, which will be the directorial debut of Rupert Everett, also stars Everett as Wilde and co-stars Colin Firth, Emily Watson and Tom Wilkinson.
The 'Hannibal' star will play Robbie Ross, the best friend and unrequited love of the iconic Irish writer and the film will focus on the final days of Wilde's life as the once celebrated writer and poet, in the midst of a very public meltdown, looks back on his life with characteristic dry wit.
