Priyanka Chopra, who is possibly having the best time of her career, clarified yesterday that her walk of life has nothing to do with other's success or failure.

"My career has been very solitary. I had nothing to do with anyone's success or failure and will continue to be so," she told the media during the cover launch of Maxim in Mumbai.

This came when the 33-year-old actress was asked for her reaction on the news that Deepika Padukone's team is trying to get good projects for her in the West.

"It doesn't make sense for me to answer on someone else. I don't pay attention to what others are doing," she added.

The 'Quantico' actress even took the platform to snub the rumours doing the rounds about her bitterness with 'BFF' Deepika.

"Earlier you all (media) used to write we are BFFs (best friends forever) so why and how did this change. I did not say it (equation) has changed. You only said it has changed. I am clarifying whatever it was earlier, it is same today also. Your (media) perspective has changed and that shouldn't have happened," she stated.

For the uninitiated, rumours about the bitterness between the 'Bajirao Mastani' actresses grabbed spotlight, owing to the tough competition offered by Deepika to Priyanka on the global platform.

It was even rumoured that the bitterness extended to such level that the two denied sharing the stage during IIFA, this year.
