Guy Pearce has recently admitted that he had a history of habitual drug use, which lasted for around one year.
The 'Prometheus' actor told GQ Australia, that there was no conscious reason to his all-day, everyday pot smoking other than he was overworked and thought being high was great fun, News.com.au reported.
He was hooked on it, as he loved the altered state marijuana brought him and he really enjoyed making music and delving into films through the prism of pot, he further added.
Pearce revealed that for most of 2002, he stayed at home in St Kilda, played his 95 guitars, switched off his phone, warned off his agent and relapsed as a stoner, but Nick Cave was the one who got him out of it.
