Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney might accept Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic's plea to join him at PSG, where PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has also confessed that he is a fan of Rooney.
Ibrahimovic's links with Rooney were doubtful earlier as the Swedish striker's PSG future was uncertain but with his continued stint at PSG, Rooney might possibly be persuaded to join PSG, the Daily Star reports.
Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola said that the striker is content to work with PSG as he had won the national title and scored goals, adding that he shares a good relationship with his coaches except with Pep Guardiola.
Ibrahimovic wants Rooney to join the French club and had asked him to move back in April as he claimed that PSG can provide with the best projects in football.
