IGATE Corporate University launched in Pune

IGATE Corporation launched the IGATE Corporate University in Pune today. The university will be one of Asia's largest corporate training universities, focusing on building custom training programs and methodologies in association with leading global varsities.

The university will accommodate more than 750 trainees with residential facilities and will offer the tutelage of renowned professors, collaborating with the corporate faculty.

Ashok Vemuri, President and CEO, IGATE, said, "This is a seminal moment for us. People are our biggest assets and we believe in richly investing in them, nurturing them to become the leaders of tomorrow."

Dr Srinivas Kandula, EVP and chief people officer, IGATE, said, "We have collaborated with BITS Pilani, Symbiosis and Xavier School of Management (XLRI) to begin with and will have tie ups with several globally renowned educational institutions as well."
