The Indian cricket 'A' team claimed an eight-wicket win over touring South African side in a T20 warm-up match in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Opting to bat first, the tourists posted a daunting target of 190, thanks to JP Duminy's unbeaten knock of 68 off 32 deliveries.

Captain Faf du Plessis was forced to retire hurt after scoring 42, while star batsman AB de Villiers smacked 37 off 27 balls opening the batting.

However, India 'A' displayed a strong fightback as the hosts chased down the target in 19.4 overs with only two wickets down.

Mayank Agarwal (87 off 49 balls) was the top scorer for the hosts, while fellow opener Manan Vohra made 56 off 42 balls.
