Wing Commander (Retd) Praful Bakshi feels that the growing relationship between India and Pakistan is a good sign.

Speaking to ANI, Bakshi said, "When Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif, Modi's body language showed that he wants the relationship to grow between the two nations." However, he added that being under pressure from the Pakistani army, Sharif cannot be more explicit in his extending an understanding of continued friendship.

Bakshi also said that while India is willing to the extend the olive branch, Modi has made it quite clear that the Indian army will no longer idly watch if Pakistani forces break protocol.
