Indian Test side reportedly pocketed a good amount of money after finishing third on the annual rankings.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) reportedly handed out a 2,84,000-dollar cheque to the Indian Test team this week.
The ICC also handed out other winners' cheques to other teams based on their rankings at the April 1 cut-off date, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
South Africa reportedly received 5,10,000 dollars after holding onto the world No 1 spot for a second straight year, while Australia banked 3,97,000 dollars for ending the season at the second rank.
England reportedly banked 1,71,000 dollars for ending the season at fourth place in the world Test team rankings.
Australia overtook India at the second place with their 2-1 Test series win over hosts South Africa this year, the report added.
