The grand finale of the 2014 World T20 will be played between India and Sri Lanka at Dhaka's Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium.

While, Dhoni led India, will eye to create a history, by becoming the first team to hold all major limited- over titles after bagging the 50-over World Cup in 2011, and the Champions Trophy last year. Sri Lanka, will be keen to win the title for their retiring veterans in the form of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene and also to break the jinx of not winning the finals in of World T20. The Lankans had featured in the finals of the WT20 in 2009 and 2012 respectively.

India has had a dream run in this edition of WT20 as it won all four Super-10 league matches before entering the finals of the tournament before beating the Proteas by six wickets in their semi-final played on Friday.

Sri Lanka reached Sunday's final with a 27-run win over defending champions West Indies through the Duckworth-Lewis calculations in a rain-hit semifinal on Thursday.

Both the teams have their own strengths as Sri Lanka having recently won the Asia Cup finals will look set to consolidate their winning momentum. On the other hand India is having Virat Kohli whose power packed knocks could blow away the opposition. Therefore, whichever finalist holds their nerves on the playing field could cash in on winning the coveted ICC T20 2014 World Cup.
