The Indian boxing team returned from Incheon, South Korea, during the wee hours of Friday, after giving a commendable performance in the Asian Games.

Among those who returned were medal winners Mary Kom and Sarita Devi, who had cried foul after losing her semi-final bout to her South Korean opponent.

When asked about her emotional protest against the referee's decision during boxing semi finals and later refusing to take the medal, Sarita Devi said, "I don't want to talk more about that, whatever I did was for the country. Everyone saw the match and everyone knows what went on."

"Now, I am going to practice more so that I can knockout the opponent in the first and second rounds itself," she added.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sarita had to settle for a bronze medal after losing her semi-final bout to South Korean boxer Park Ji-na.

Sarita, who protested against the referee's decision, reportedly refused to wear the bronze medal and took it only in her hand when it was presented. Later, she tried to hang around the neck of Park Ji-na.

In the 17th Asian Games being held in Incheon, India is currently at eighth place in the medals tally with 10 golds, 9 silvers and 37 bronze medals.

India's women's 4X400 mts relay team and the women's Kabaddi team won ninth and the tenth golds for the country respectively.
