An Indian national was reportedly found dead hanging from a tree in the Damhimadai Village Defence Committee area of Nepal's Mahottari district on Monday.
According to a Himalayan Times report, the deceased has been identified as Ramsnehi Sada, a 55-year-old resident of Sirsiya in Bihar's Sitamarhi district.
The report said that Sada was found hanging from the tree at a roadside in Rani Ratawara of Damhimadai VDC-9, as per information provided by the local police.
Police said Sada had arrived few days earlier to stay at his brother-in-law Bijo Sada's house. He had left his in-law's house to head back to India; but was found hanging from the tree, according to Bijo Sada.
The body has been sent to the Jaleshwor-based District Hospital for an autopsy.
The police are investigating the case.
