The president of the state unit of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Devendra Rana, today stormed out of the Jammu and Kashmir State Assembly in protest against what he called 'politics (being played) over dead bodies'.
Rana said, "I have not walked out, I have just moved out, because I feel very ashamed of certain political parties and the people of the political parties, who are behaving in a manner to get publicity over the dead bodies. It is not acceptable to me. It is a matter of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and when a man from Jammu and Kashmir dies, my heart should bleed and I should not play politics. They are playing politics, which is why I have moved out".
A resolution seeking Indo-Pak talks was to be tabled in the state assembly today.
