England all-rounder Ben Stokes has been ruled out of bowling any further in the ongoing third Test against Pakistan after suffering a shoulder injury.

The 24-year-old left the field in great discomfort after falling on his right shoulder while fielding on Day one in Sharjah.

The team spokesman confirmed Stokes had suffered injury to his right shoulder and said that the specialist would be looking at his scans overnight. He also said that a decision on the possibility of him batting would depend on circumstances, Sport24 reported.

Stokes couldn't get a wicket after bowling 11 overs in Pakistan's first innings of 234.
