INK to host 'INK Asia 2016' in Singapore

Supported by the Hub Singapore, INK is set to host its unique multi-sensory conference, INK Asia 2016 in Singapore from May 19 to 20.

The conference is set to bring together thinkers, doers, artists and performers from around the world for breakthrough conversations on disruption. The two-day conference will encourage participants to rethink how to view change and progress.

INK Asia 2016 is the second conference organized in Singapore by INK, a platform for the exchange of cutting-edge ideas and inspiring stories. It is supported by the Hub Singapore, the city's largest community of entrepreneurs, creative's and techies. Targeted at Asia's vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, the conference is accessibly priced at only SGD 299.

The conference will feature a diverse group of speakers and performers who will drive a discussion around the changes that promise to revolutionize the way we work and play today and in the future.

Among a few speakers at the conference will include Nobel Prize-winning biologist Dr. Sydney Brenner, whose contributions to the genetic code and molecular biology made him a global pioneer in his field, Jonathan Reiber, Senior Fellow and writer at the University of California Berkeley's Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity and former advisor to the Obama Administration, will provide insights into where Singapore's cyber-security vulnerabilities lie, and how through applying management and leadership strategies, communities can build human resilience to the disruption caused by cyber-attacks.

Other speakers and hosts include Steve Boyes, conservation biologist fighting to protect Botswana's Okavango Delta; Rick Smolan, co-creator of Human Face of Big Data; Piyush Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of DBS Group; and the singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and the only female in the world to play the double violin, Gingger Shankar, among others.
