The Israeli military shelled a Hamas-run checkpoint in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, killing one and injuring one.
The ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said, "Mohamed Ahmed al-Radei, 25, was killed, while a second person was moderately injured by Israeli shelling near the Gaza Strip's northern border," Anadolu Agency quoted.
Hamas's armed wing, Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, located east of northern Gaza's town of Beit Lahia was targeted by the Israeli artillery.
On May 14, in the clashes between the Israel and Palestine at the Gaza Strip, at least 65 Palestinian demonstrators lost their lives and more than hundred were injured.
Unidentified Palestinians were killed when Israeli soldiers opened fire at the eastern border of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
A large number of Palestinians gathered to protest on the Gaza Strip's eastern border to commemorate the Nakba anniversary and protest the relocation of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
