J-K: Pak violates ceasefire in Kamalkote sector

Pakistan violated ceasefire in the Kamalkote sector of Uri in the Baramulla district of North Kashmir on Sunday.

The Pakistan Army started firing on army posts at 10:50 a.m.

The firing is still underway.

No loss of life or injury has been reported so far.

Earlier, a civilian porter had died when Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing in the Kamalkote sector on October 21.

The incidents of ceasefire violation, which were 228 last year, have already crossed 500 since January.
