Three Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were gunned down by security forces in an encounter which took place in Gatapore village of Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district.
Earlier, a terrorist's body and two weapons were recovered by the forces in the encounter, report CRPF sources.
One of the terrorist has been identified as Abid.
As per latest information, combing operation is currently underway.
The latest development comes hours after a patrol party of security forces was attacked in Baramulla's Ladoora in the state where security forces claimed to have killed a top Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Umer Khalid.
