Seems like, Hollywood might finally be listening as Jennifer Lawrence will earn up to twice as much as fellow lead Chris Pratt in her next film 'Passengers' in small victory for gender pay equality.

The 35-year-old actor will make 10 - 12 million dollars from the film, while the 24-year-old actress will get a fee of 20 million dollars, the Independent reported.

This comes after a number of high profile actresses spoke out about the gender pay gap in the film industry and a mini-scandal over Lawrence being paid less than her male co-stars in 'American Hustle.
